Clothing for medical personnel

Clothing for medical personnel

The fact that the colours of an outfit affect our mood and in some way show our mood is nothing revelatory. Women start to wear red after a divorce, manifesting independence, activity and inner strength. When men are in mourning, they wear shirts and trousers in dark shades. Colours also have significance in the context of clothing for medical personnel. The former sterile white in hospitals already frightened patients from afar, instilling fear and apprehension. Those times are thankfully gone and now colourful medical clothing and patterned medical clothing dominate in medical facilities.

What is colour therapy?

Colour therapy, also known as chromotherapy, is a non-conventional method used since ancient times to treat patients with colours. It is based on exposing the sense of sight to suitable colours. Such treatments aim to soothe, relax and stimulate our body. The method supports patients in their fight against illness by positively influencing natural behaviour. The main objective of colour therapy is to make us have more energy and a greater desire for life by surrounding ourselves with specific colours.

Colour therapy is now regarded as a method of alternative medicine, but it works best when used as a complement to conventional treatment. Its popularity is due to two reasons - it is cheap and safe for health.

What effect do colours have on us?

It turns out that colours have different effects on our mood. It all depends on which ones we choose. Some are perfectly soothing and calming, others, on the contrary, irritate and annoy. They affect not only our psyche, but also our mind and body. All it takes is for us to see someone dressed in black on the street who is additionally sad, and we too take on the mood of that person we meet. When we come to the hospital to visit a loved one and see so many sick and suffering people, we immediately become gloomy.

Clothes for medical staff, and more specifically their colours, have great power. They can effectively lift the mood not only of the patients, but also of the wearers themselves. Sometimes we very unconsciously put on medical attire that reflects our current mood. When we get out of bed in the morning, it's rainy and gloomy outside and we've been on duty for several hours, we are more likely to wear dark-coloured medical clothing. Conversely, in moments of joy, we opt for warm colours such as orange or blue.

You probably know the saying: fall into the black hole of despair, look at the world through rose-coloured glasses or think of blue almonds. We use colours every day to express feelings and describe the situation we find ourselves in. Colours also affect our health, so it is better to surround ourselves with these positive colours.

Colourful medical sweatshirts - cheer up black thoughts

Clothing for medical staff has come a long way to being where it is today. The days of sterile white are behind us and colours and patterns reign supreme in medical uniforms. In Louis Lanier's online shop, there are colourful medical blouses or colourful medical caps to suit your mood, but also your taste. Don't be afraid of change and opt for patterned medical clothing that is sure to appeal to your colleagues and patients.
